Ballerina Fun

Our magazine cover for "Ballet Fun," the project we've been doing for a bit now.  We've got plenty more to do, but this cover turned out rather nice - I just love her pose in this.

Today we returned to piano class, one of the few left in the year, actually.  We're starting to really focus on the recital coming up, the group performance and her solo as well.  I think she's doing really well with the group performance, which is pretty simple, actually.  The solo is taking a bit more time to master, but we've got three Fridays to go until the big day.  Hopefully that's enough time to get performance-ready.

On the way home, we got to answer the question, "Do you like piña coladas?"  There's a new slushie flavor at the Race Trac, and with our Sodapalooza cups, we got to sample that and the typical mango ice tea flavor that Madison loves so much.  There are some things that are important as you go out the door in the morning:  Madison makes sure you remember your Sodapalooza cup.  And she also makes sure everyone remembers it's Taco Tuesday!

So there were tacos tonight, our devotional, the Rocket and Groot book, and then "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," which sort of lost a bit of something ever since episode 15 of this year or so.  We'll hang on to the end, just to find out what happens next.

In the meantime, Daddy has gotten the same thing Madison had last week.  The fever started tonight, a Tuesday night again.  And just like with Madison, there's the coughing and the really high temperature. Hopefully this won't be like Madison's, where it lasts a week, but we'll see how things work out.  The life of a father...
