The Hero's Journey

Madison was given the challenge of applying "The Hero's Journey" to any story, and it seemed pretty logical to apply that to Anakin Skywalker.  She has put a lot of work into this slide shows showing it off to me with all the different images and text.  The end product came out really well!  Maybe I can share it here on these pages some time, but she worked hard on it and was really proud of it, for good reason.  She's done some great work on projects this year.

This morning I was getting blood drawn again, and hopefully we'll get some good results from this.  I've had a lot of dietary changes and new medications, so we'll see how that all works out soon enough.  Madison has only a few more weeks of school, and she's looking forward to summer of course.

She was at taekwondo tonight too, and mighty impressive with the combat stick.  She was doing a fantastic job with sparring on those.  She's so evasive, but to be evasive and able to strike out at the same time is a pretty good talent.  She's flexible and quick, and she was doing pretty good tonight.

Mom was out there with the mulch fixing up an area around the new birdhouse, and her hope has been to see a bluebird there.  She loves bluebirds, and it was such a wonderful moment when I was out there and saw not one but two bluebirds checking out the birdhouse.  We may have new residents!

Tonight's programming including the Mighty Ducks and the Bad Batch, both great shows on tonight.  We followed it up with another "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." of course.  After that, it time for reading and prayers.  I was wiped out from the day, but it was a good day.  We'll all get to sleep in tomorrow!
