Here's the end product of Mom's hard work the last week: our Autumn Beauty. That's the name she's given the scarecrow she's been working on, the one that will hopefully be making an appearance in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens in Gainesville. All that remains to do is spray a decent coating of waterproofing on it, and that should be that.
Tonight we were at another East Forsyth Broncos football game, the third of the season. I was by myself up at the top of the bleachers, snapping photos from a better angle this time of the action.
Nice one-handed grab here!
We did these punts a lot...
Dropped the football, but it bounced right back up again!
I like this sequence of this pass. Looks like #1 was going to get it...
...but the pass was right on target...
Our guys were did their best with rushing the ball.
Ultimately though, we never scored tonight.
This picture sort of sums up the night, in fact.
Although there were some bright spots and good plays.
In the end, the Broncos still lost, 42-0.
The first three games, the score has been Opponents 165, Broncos 7.
The band did well tonight, and got great cheers from the crowd.
The first quarter had no score at all. Broncos defense was good for the first and most of the third.
The team was warming up before heading out after halftime. The weather tonight was perfect.
It was still a fun night, despite the score. There have been some improvements, although the score wasn't reflective of that. Our defense was better, and some of our rushing was working.
Maddie sat with her friend Bobby tonight, enjoying the game. They "ditched" Dad tonight, so I sat by myself up there and watched from above.
We got home afterwards, and it was time for reading and prayers. It was a little later, but Maddie had a great night tonight. We all got to sleep fairly quickly. I'm super tired, and fortunately, we don't have to set the alarm clocks for tomorrow.
