We're getting some shirts for our Super Bowl Sunday at KidPak, so we picked up this one for Madison. Today was Falcons Friday, or something like that. This was announced by the Governor. So let it be written, so let it be done. Everyone is welcome to dress up - or rise up - in such a manner that increases team spirit. Of course, this is a direct violation of many civil rights laws, as those poor New England visitors forced to stay in Atlanta are probably offended.
Anyway, today was a great day. It's getting colder again, which is what it's supposed to be doing. That said, we had the fire roaring tonight as we continued our Tinkathon, watching "Tinkerbell and the Lost Treasure." All three of us sat on the couch, under the blankets, and watched it from start to finish - these aren't bad movies at all! Madison could hardly remember this one, as it was one of the earliest of Tink's adventures. She loved the bloopers.
She got a perfect score on her 13 colonies test, just like we thought she would. Madison has a head for geography, partially thanks to that "Stack the States" game. It's been very helpful. Also helpful is the new piano - Madison can play "Hall of the Mountain King" rather briskly on it, or at least the first part. Now you've got that tune in your head, don't you? There's a version of it in the "Trolls" movie, one where they call out periodically, "Hair Up!" Of course, this weekend, that's a bit different. This weekend, the only thing you hear over and over and over again is the Falcon's theme slogan, "Rise Up." It's everywhere. And now it's in this blog, see?
