So here we are, the KidPak Men's Synchronized Swimming Team. it was a tremendous accomplishment this morning, as we got the water on stage and the performance was simply riveting.
Okay, it was a little off. And that's the point. We were being goofy. The part where everyone's legs were sticking up over the water just got the kids laughing, as did most of the skit. It was a lot of fun, and the guys just look great in the swim caps and goggles. Matching shirts too - we went and got those as well.
But we couldn't rest on our accomplishments for too long: after KidPak, it was off to Daytona Shores! Yes, we were on our way today, starting out late, but anxious to get to the beach once more. We saw a rainbow on the way down, and in other good signs, we took a different way down other than Atlanta. We went by Athens, and even a little town called Madison, Georgia. Yes, Madison has now been to Madison.
This way was shorter, although we had some significant mishaps along the way, amplified by the late start we had. We arrived in Daytona quite late, but safe at least. It's going to be a wonderful time away.
