We've been taking that top layer of ice out of the bird bath lately, and we took a picture of it above, just because it was interesting. Got to have a place for the birds to have something to drink!
It was a super quiet day. No school, and no taekwondo. We did finish the dog puzzle that we picked up from the library, which you can see the finished product above. We were taking things down from the Christmas decorations still, and we were watching some things on television, while doing homework still and also doing a tiny bit of work towards the new Narnia skit this upcoming weekend. It was a super quiet day though. Nana has called us a few times from the facility, and she seems to be fine - a little too fine, in some ways. She definitely has some memory issues to put it mildly, but at least she is in good spirits.
We finished the day off with reading, and with prayers of course. It's chilly outside, but hot soup and warm blankets at night are just right for that sort of thing.
