This is Jerome. I texted Maddie to ask if this was Larry, because I remember her saying she'd named her recent paper swan Larry. I was surprised when she answered, "No, that's not Larry. It's Jerome!"
Maddie can make these from memory, and is actually quite good at doing various origami shapes. She's also good with that squeaking rubber chicken lately. The funny thing is that this chicken - it has the name Joaquim - will be in one of the upcoming Narnia skits. It seems random, but it does actually fit in. If modern kids are going to Narnia suddenly with whatever is on their person, it stands to reason that Maddie would bring a rubber chicken with her. They're good in an emergency!
So tonight I was planning another college class that starts tomorrow, one where I'll be teaching about twelve students or so. It's an honor to be requested to do such a thing. Tomorrow will be a huge day for other reasons too. Tonight we watched a season two episode of "The Chosen," just rolling along with these. Maddie has been really into this series, which is great to see. But we all have - they're very good episodes, each one. Afterwards, we were watching "The Shop Around the Corner," the old movie that we'd not really heard of until watching the play, "She Loves Me" back in December. I checked this movie out from the library, and tonight we got to sit down and enjoy it together with some really good tea. Mom has shifted her tea-making to the kind seeped in a pot, and it's a new kind of tea we've gotten, really rich and delicious.
We were filming KPTV today, no pies this time. But I've been helping out with the camera a bit lately. We sort of do a bit of everything at KidPak, including teaching and also planning for Easter and perhaps other productions too.
Tonight we read from our book, "Interesting Times," which is wrapping up with the Four Horseman and a funny bit there. We also read from our Narnia devotional that we worked so hard to get done. It's good - Maddie tries to guess who wrote which entry each night, as there are three authors: Joey, Camille, and myself. It's turned out really well.
It's late though. It's time to get some rest tonight. We have a monumental day tomorrow.
