I took this picture of this squirrel on the window sill. It's as if he/she is challenging us. Where's more seed? The squirrels were aware of how much they could eat before, but suddenly they've crossed lines and have declared an invasive war on us. My patience has run out with them now, and they must be taught a lesson. Oh yes, they must be taught a lesson... moo-ah-ah-ah!
Okay, anyway, we had a good day. I've got some blood pressure issues, but it might be due to a high sodium diet of late, including tonight's visit to the Olive Garden, which I loved. But sodium is high there. We went with Uncle George and had a great time, this after Maddie was at taekwondo for a solid night there as well. Today's tasks included dealing with annoying banks, and fixing the dryer in our house. You don't realize how important that appliance is until it isn't working any more. The laundry was piling up! Thanks to Uncle George, that's taken care of.
We were proofing books today for KidPak, and also on the way to taekwondo, Maddie started out our Swift-fest, which is basically listening to all the Taylor Swift CDs, one at a time, one a week. As I've never heard but two of her songs before, the idea is that I will be a bit more familiar with these by the time we go to the concert. Maddie has a story for each song - she loves this artist. We'll be listening to this on the way to and from taekwondo, anyway, so that's three times a week, and then repeat! Time will tell, but I could very well become a Swifty myself! We were already quoting song titles back and forth. It's fun!
Okay, anyway, it's time to go. We said our prayers, read from teh devotional and read from teh Discworld again tonight. And then... it was time for bed. As we close out, one more picture of the sunset from Maddie:
