Tonight they had s'mores at Free Chapel Youth, and as you can see above, there was a lot of chocolate and marshmallows. They got a few fire pits set up outside, and yes, everyone got to roast their own marshmallows too. It was a nice night at church with a fun activity afterwards.
We were getting some grocery shopping done today, and I was delighted to see more Transylvanian cheese, and some of that pumpkin spice Wensleydale cheese in the pumpkin-shaped wrapping. Oh, and there was pumpkin spice cream cheese too! We're ready for fall here.
And we were getting ready for Christmas too. Yes, we've been doing Christmas shopping lately, and we were doing some of that the last few weeks, including some searching for new Christmas lights too. On top of that, Mom and Nana have been working on these birdhouse ornaments for the outdoor Christmas tree at the botanical gardens. I was getting scripts written out today, just going through a pretty ordinary day.
It was a good day though. We said our prayers, and after that it was time for some reading as Nicholas Benedict and his two friends John and Violet search for a hidden treasure. Appropriate theme, I suppose, given that we're in the KidPak series, "The Quest!"
