Our series "The Quest" has been a surprising amount of fun this month! You can see Maddie above, one of the students abroad who has been caught up in an ongoing adventure with quite the legendary character, Indiana Jones.
Daniel is doing great with this role. We had him snapping the whip (and I've been in the back with the sound effects with pieces of wood slapping together!), and we've had him quoting lines left and right from the movies. Along the way, of course there are lessons - today's involved the Lost Ark, and it was a great message about not losing God's presence. It was a super fun morning!
The rest of the day was more laid back. We picked up some rotisserie chicken, but also some pumpkin pie ice cream. Mom cooked up some of the apples from our apple picking adventure a few weeks ago, and we had it as a hot topping for the ice cream - super delicious!
We watched a few movies too, and Maddie and I also had some fun this afternoon back in Middle Earth with the LEGO Lord of the Rings game. It was a fun day, another really pleasant day with the weather too. We closed the night out reading, and prayers. It was a great Sunday!
