Star Wars Day

It's Star Wars Day, and I sent this to Maddie earlier.  It got a few laughs around the office, of course, primarily from those Star Wars fans.  You can see who they are, anyone wearing Star Wars t-shirts, socks, hats or whatever.  Which of course is me.  It's Maddie too - she sent this picture out to everyone earlier of the rocking chair outside her room.

We watched a few KidPak videos with the Star Wars theme today, some fun episodes from our series, "The Spirit Awakens."  But tonight, the theme continued at Free Chapel Youth with the students competing in a Star Wars dance-off.

Yeah, they were singing the Kinect song "Han Solo" again, groups of students competing, boys versus girls.  They had fun tonight, although the night wasn't necessarily all about Star Wars.  It was just adding a bit of flavor to the game segment of the night.  

It was a good day - a busy one, but a good one.  Maddie was at home for most of the day, studying for an upcoming test here or there while watching videos or talking with friends.  It was a a nice relaxing day for her, one that ended with us all together later on tonight, reading of course, and then prayers... and then a good night's sleep.  Tomorrow morning is an early morning for us!
