“The Lost World”
CUE TRACK: 1 Jurassic Park
CUE SLIDE: “JURASSIC PARK BACKGROUND”
Three volunteers walk in, one girl, one boy, and one adult volunteer.
PLACE REMOTE CONTROL somewhere on stage (by dinosaur gate).
HOST: “Our story begins here – in Dinosaur Park. You can see our park visitors walking up. Little Timmy there is hoping to see a giant stomping _____________. And young Lex is really wanting to see a plant-eating _______________.
And there’s Dr. Malcom, who hopes he’s not eaten by a _______________ ______________.”
HOST: “Unfortunately, that’s just what’s about to happen. RUN FOR IT!”
HOST: “Just kidding. What actually happened was this. They saw the park, and they all said, ‘Oooooh.’”
LET VOLUNTEERS say “Ooooooh.”
HOST: “Then they said, ‘Aaaaaaah.’”
LET VOLUNTEERS say “Aaaaaaah.”
HOST: “And then they picked their noses.”
PAUSE
HOST: “I was waiting to see if you’d actually do it! Anyway, while here, they saw the big gates to the park. They ______________ up to those gates.”
VOLUNTEERS do as instructed.
HOST: “And that’s when they noticed a small remote control by those gates. Little Timmy picked it up.”
VOLUNTEER does as instructed.
HOST: “He was sorely tempted to press a button on that remote control. Especially the one that said, ‘DO NOT PRESS THIS BUTTON.’ But that’s when Dr. Malcom looked at him, and said in a kindly voice, ‘Don’t press that button, my ____________ ___________.”
ADULT VOLUNTEER does as instructed.
HOST: “But the other two really wanted to press that button. They were so excited about pressing the button that they hopped up and down like ______________ ______________!”
KID VOLUNTEERS do as instructed.
HOST: “Then they started making noises that sounded like _______________ ____________.”
KID VOLUNTEERS do as instructed.
HOST: “So Dr. Malcom said, ‘If you press that button, you may release something into this world that won’t be good.”
ADULT VOLUNTEER does as instructed.
HOST: “Nevertheless, the kids were determined. And so Little Timmy pressed that button. And that’s when they heard a terrifying noise.”
CUE SOUND EFFECT: RUDE NOISE
HOST: “A-hem. For indeed, Dr. Malcom was right. They had released something bad. They opened a gate to one of the dinosaur pens!”
INFLATABLE DINOSAUR comes out and attacks the VOLUNTEERS. It is inflatable, so it’s essentially like getting hit with a balloon.
HOST: “Oh no! One of the dinosaurs got loose! You spent so long thinking about whether you could, you didn’t stop to think whether you should!”
HOST: “That’s when Dr. Malcom did a very brave thing. He decided to sacrifice himself to save the kids. Yes, he ___________ away from the stage.”
VOLUNTEER does as instructed.
HOST: “The dinosaur saw him and stopped, completely bewildered. That’s when Dr. Malcom ____________ right down the aisle, and the dinosaur chased him off and completely out of the room!”
VOLUNTEER does as instructed, chased by DINOSAUR out the room.
HOST: “Timmy and Lex were saved. They said, ‘We’re _____________!”
VOLUNTEERS do as instructed.
HOST: “Very good! Let’s give them a hand as they go back to their seats.”
VOLUNTEERS do as instructed.
HOST: “And so we come to the end of this short story, one that reminds us all of an important story. Some time ago, sin was released into the world, because of disobedience. We were all disobedient. But even so, there was someone who loved us so much that he was willing to be a sacrifice for our sins. Who was that, KidPak?”
Let audience answer.
HOST: “That’s right. Jesus. And because of what He did for us, we can all have a happily ever after. The end.”

I might need to share it below for those super fans who just want to read that lost novella. I don't get money out of this, and in fact it took a good while to do screen captures. I wanted to do so I or anyone else can read the full adventure of the Kingdom Keepers... you might see that below.
And here it is below, the "lost" copy of "Unforeseen,"
written by Ridley Pearson and Allie Lazar.
If Maddie ever goes through all the Kingdom Keeper books
later on, she can just jump here to this post, and so can you.
I personally don't get money from this - or apparently any thanks from anyone online!
Anyway, this actually took a good while to get done,
and it's for anyone who wants to read that entire KK experience.
Is there a way for you to share the copy of unforeseen that you have?
ReplyDeleteI was looking into that just now. It's on our Kindle reader, and I just didn't see a way to download the file to my computer. One possibility would be to do a screen capture of the pages. I think that comes out to a little over thirty screen captures for the whole novella (two pages per picture). It would take a little time to do, but I'd be happy to do that for a real fan. I'll share a sample image here on this post so you can take a look and see if that would work. Let me know what you think!
