Pi Day is here again, and we though we weren't able to actually have a piece of pie, we did have a great day together nonetheless.
Here's Uncle George and Madison together for a selfie on her camera. And here below is an impromptu concert that Madison gave for everyone in the house.
Other concerts may be getting cancelled, but this one was still on. Madison was practicing a bit, and impressing the audience with her increasing talent.
There is a whole lot of social distancing going on, which is another way of saying, "Everyone stay home." And that's okay today, as we're together with family. We did get out for a few hours, driving around and looking at new homes for Nana and Ba-Ba, and that was a pleasant drive.
But otherwise, we did in fact stay home all day. We had a great, fantastic Irish meal with corn beef and cabbage and other items too - complete with the Irish music in the background. Nana was not a fan of it.
NANA: "That Irish music is.... "
MADISON: "Peaceful?"
NANA: "...Painful."
This was a hilarious moment. We kept the music on anyway, by the way.
The rain stopped after a while, so we were outside going for a short walk together, and after that we were watching "Iron Man 2," just because. Afterwards, a fairly lengthy game of dominoes, a family tradition of sorts. We hadn't gotten around to that yet, so it was good to squeeze in a game tonight. And it turned out to be a longer one too.
We read tonight, and got to bed a little later after prayers. It was a good day though.
Madison was playing her new game she got for the Switch, the "Tsum-Tsum" festival, and of course doing all the things above with us. But she was also trying out her camera on her new phone, taking a few pretty decent pictures. We'll close out this entry here with a few of those pictures she took today.
