LEGO on and on

Madison - and all the other kids - got to see the conclusion of our LEGO-themed story today, although the series continues for another few weeks.  There's that bedoubled couch behind us, and a new LEGO character, a third one.  We had three of these guys on stage with us today, and a pretty full cast.  This made it easy to memorize lines, as they were more spread out.  Madison liked the story today, and as always, everyone is sad to see a story draw to an end.  But the next few weeks are bound to be fairly frantic, as we draw closer to "Holly."  Next Sunday is the one before Thanksgiving, so we'll do some Thanksgiving-related fun, and the Sunday after that is the one that Daddy planned to do a movie day, where we show clips from "The LEGO Movie," and preach a bit about some of the concepts in the movie.  That will be two weeks from now, so we'll probably share that message here by then.

It was a long day today.  KidPak Español needed help, which we were happy to supply - and then there was Christmas play practice again, a theme for the next few weeks.  Daddy is playing the part of "Marv," so there is more to practice than previously thought.  Not only a director, but he is now a character too!

The end result was another thirteen-hour day.  Madison and Mommy fortunately got to go home right around KidPak Español.  They had lunch, and Madison finished up her piano practice.  The two also watched a few Christmas specials, which we have in great abundance.  The logs were on the fire when Daddy got home, the tree lit up with sparkling Christmas lights.  It was a nice thing to come home to on a crisp, cold winter's night.  Soon we were all fast asleep - the season is slipping by.
