Unikitty Hat

Madison nailed this picture just right.  We sent it to Lance, who never showed up for a meeting we were needing to have.  It all worked out in the end, although we thought it would be fun to send him a picture, taunting him about not being at the office.  The above photo is what we sent, a shot of all of us looking so disappointed!

Do you like Madison's hat?  She loves it - she got it today, which timed out well with the colder weather sweeping through.  It also fits our LEGO-themed series, as it is a Unikitty hat.  This was custom made, and when Mommy saw the design for it, she ordered this right away.  Madison's friends were wondering where she got that from, but this year, there won't be too many people with a Unikitty hat like this.  It's pretty neat!

As you can tell, she was with us at the office for a bit today.  This was a long day - we started out with our annual Wisdom Club luncheon, a Thanksgiving-themed meal for the seniors at our church.  Daddy serves, alongside all the other staff members, and it is just a privilege to be there.  But then there's the bonus of eating the food ourselves, after serving the hundreds and hundreds of folks that come pouring through.

It's a gluten-fiesta though, so unfortunately, Mommy can't partake in it.  She did, however, start with her cleaning up of the prop room down the hall.  We're going to be needing some costumes right away, and Mommy is doing a bit of organizing.  One set of costumes we're needing to pull are costumes for the Nativity scene we're planning on setting up at Lake Lanier Islands.  We'll have actors out there, portraying famous people in the live Nativity Set.  As an aside, this is going to be a big upcoming theme, as we'll be doing a Nativity theme at KidPak in December.  Currently, he's writing up the messages for each set piece.  Those will be posted here eventually.

Did you know that the crops are still good outside?  Yes, despite the crazy cold weather, Daddy found some really big green peppers outside, and a huge cucumber!  Daddy was getting the hose to bring inside, when he looked over at our forgotten garden, and lo!  There they were, these very big vegetables, untouched and nearly prize-winning in size!  Sorry, I'm just impressed by that.  It's halfway through November, and we're still harvesting from our garden.

We've been watching Christmas movies here and there, although we're also still going through the Thanksgiving theme as well. Daddy is still reading that one book, although we started watching some Christmas movies tonight.  We still have quite a bit of decor to put up, although the one tree in the great room is pretty much done.  It looks so nice there, and with the fire in the fireplace, everything is nice and comfy.  We've been playing some light Christmas music too - it may be soon for some folks, but it is actually a little late for us.  We've just been busy, that's all.  But it's okay, as we're just plodding along.  But boy, this month is flying by quickly.  Suddenly, we're realizing all those things we have to do by Christmas.  Fortunately, we've done a little shopping and again, some of our decorations are up.  We'll pace ourselves - we've got time, and it shouldn't be anything to get stressed about!
