Loki and this Complicated Multiverse Thing

We just finished season one of Loki again, and tonight it was time to watch the premiere of season two!  Thumbs up for all of us!  It's just so surreal and the style of that is really fun.  The whole multiverse saga here is pretty complicated, and while the previous saga within the Marvel Cinematic Universe was fairly simple:  Stop the bad guy who wants six rocks that will help him destroy half of the universe.  This multiverse stuff is so all over the place that you just have to let it go in your mind and watch stuff without overthinking it.  Because if you start to try and fully understand it... yeah.  What's crazy is that I used to understand everything in these movies from the Star Wars universe to Back to the Future to Lord of the Rings... but suddenly Marvel is just crazy.  I just asked Maddie if she understood all of what's going on with Marvel, and she said, "No... and sometimes I just have to accept whatever is happening and move on."  And yeah, that's just it!

Anyway, it was a busy day today.  Maddie had a good day at school, and did well with her history test.  And speaking of which, later on she was at taekondo, and of course pretty soon she'll be testing there as she advances towards her next belt ranking.  That's a while from now, but baby steps, baby steps!

I got another pumpkin today.  So we have four in the house.  I kind of want to sculpt one a little early now, but it might wait until later - I've been snatching up pumpkins at Aldi's because they were under $4, and that's a great price.  We've got the four lined up on the fireplace now, and the house looks nice with fall decor.  Outside too!

Speaking of outside, there are bluebirds back, and that's exciting for Mom.  There are more birds showing up than usual, so I'm thinking the food supply out there in the woods is dwindling somewhat with winter approaching.

We were reading tonight, almost done now.  And we said our prayers afterwards.  It's a busy season with lots of writing going on - we are continuing with our writing for Christmas, and wrapping up some things for Sunday.  Lots going on!
