Terrifying Pumpkin Pizza!

And now we present... the most terrifying pizza of all!  I spotted this pizza at the grocery store and had to pick it up for Maddie this season.  You know with all that cheese it's going to melt into this weird and hideous face, and sure enough, this pizza did not disappoint!

It was a virtual day for Maddie, a day for some students to be taking big tests at the school while others did their work at home.  Mom had scheduled a dental visit for Maddie some time ago, and we always struggle with this one because it has to fall on a day that she is at school.  Unbeknownst to us when we scheduled this, today became a virtual day - so Maddie didn't miss a thing at school this morning.  We got her over to the dentist, and the visit was fairly quick.

They even had pumpkins there!  And... as you can see, they were pink pumpkins.  The staff had a contest with pink pumpkins each staff member created to decorate the main desk there at the office.  The winner was the cow, which turned out fantastic.  They all did, actually!

This has been a big week for planning at KidPak, as our ideas for doing "All Aboard!" at Christmas time have sort of fell by the wayside.  Basically, we have to keep the sand up there and some of the Tatooine structures.  But the train is still on its way to our set, so there's that.  So what to do with a train and a desert set?  That's how we arrived at a return to a series we did some time ago, "A Lone Star Christmas."  It'll be fun, but there's a lot of "emergency writing" to do here with new messages.  Add that to the writing for the Christmas spectacular that is going on, and of course the week-to-week stuff.  It's a little frantic!  But to get in the mood of things, yes, we're listening to Christmas music a little early - cowboy Christmas.  That includes the Flying W's and Riders in the Sky.  We're looking into cowboy Christmas videos and just trying to get in the right frame of mind as we try to come up with some new messages that have cowboys and Christmas.

Tonight we had taekwondo, and that went well of course.  We watched "Loki" tonight too, along with some other seasonal programming - after that, it was time for "A Hat Full of Sky," which we're all enjoying.  The plush entourage was down the hall with us listening with Maddie and Mom, who is also enjoying the antics of the Nac Mac Feegle.  It's a really fun read.  After that, time for prayers, and then for sleep!
