Here is Maddie's junior photo, the last "normal" picture of her school career.  It turned out okay - we've taken a lot better pictures of her lately, honestly.  And what's up with that boring backdrop?  Seriously, it's a decent picture, and we might end up ordering it online.  They give you this one version with watermarks on it all over, and I think I kind of got rid of most of those.  Anyway, it was a good day today, especially for Bonnie Claire!

Camille had her baby this morning as planned, and everything went really well!  She was sharing pictures with us, and we're so happy for her family.  Nine months ago to the day, she was sad and grieving over a miscarriage, and it was during a prayer meeting - nine months ago to the day - that Pastor Franklin stopped and prophesied that someone in that prayer meeting just had a miscarriage.  We were all there, and we heard what was said next, that nine months from that moment, she would be holding her child.  And here we are, and isn't that amazing? 

Today the students were dressing up like their teachers as a part of Homecoming week.  Maddie had a good day too, and that looked like fun.  We had a meeting at church, a lengthy one where at one point, the entire staff stopped to acknowledge Mom and I, and the applause was extended and went on, and on, and on...

It was so embarrassing!  And humbling.  I'm tearful thinking of that moment right now.  We've never had anyone clap that long for us - I wish Mom was there to hear it, because it was for her too.

We had our play practice tonight, and that went well.  Getting home, we watched some "Monk," and then got ready for bedtime.  We were reading "A Hat Full of Sky" some more, and after that it was time for prayers... and sleep.
