Return to the Haunted Chiropractor!

We had an appointment today with the chiropractor, and it's always fun to go in October because they usually have the place all decorated with spiders and skeleton bits, and usually there's this cosmetic practice head floating around somewhere.

The story of this one is that Doc Williams' daughter was in cosmetic classes and had a bag of these heads in the attic.  After a pest control worker came over to look around in the attic, he stepped into one area and knocked the bag over... and a bunch of heads came rolling out!  He ran out of there screaming!  Maddie thought she'd have fun with the head, as you can see below.

The staff there got a big kick out of this one!  It was a fun visit.  We got our bones cracked and adjusted, and things went well the rest of the day.  We had a lot of writing adjustments going on with the Christmas Spectacular, and I'm almost done there.  Maddie registered for her AP exam, which is designed to be the most inconvenient way possible to register for a test, possibly meant to weed out the weak and less determined.  But after a good bit of searching through a labyrinth of less-than-helpful wording, we did manage our goal!

Tonight's movie was "Hocus Pocus," another yearly tradition.  We'll probably pass on the sequel, as none of us liked it as much.  But this one is campy fun!  And yes, we closed the night out with reading from "A Hat Full of Sky," followed by prayers, and sleep.  It was a good day today, and we'll have a long day tomorrow too, so it's a good idea to get some rest.
