Long Day

As advertised, LONG DAY.  I was at the church at 8am this morning and left at 10pm.  Yeah.  

We were there for Divine, helping with the photo wall and other places, and that was a long day in itself.  I managed to get Maddie back and forth to Team Edge practice, and she had a great time there.

 She and Mom had the day together after that, and they were getting ready for the upcoming trip.  Oh, and by the way, my treadmill arrived - it's in the basement now in a box, and it'll take a bit to get together, but I'm excited about that one.  

Tonight we had play practice, and Maddie's not in the Christmas play this year.  Of course, she could be, given that I'm writing it and all.  We do have her in a name-drop at one point in the script, and it's a quick cameo thing.  But Maddie's so busy with Team Edge and school that the Christmas play might be a little much, and that's okay.  Anyway, we had a good turnout tonight, and we got a lot done too!

As mentioned earlier, it's been a long day.  We still got to read a bit tonight, and say our prayers.  And then it was off to sleep...
