Front Porch

Mom has the front porch looking very nice with some fall decor out there.  We were writing today on the front porch, working on some of the script for the upcoming Christmas production from KidPak.  It was such a beautiful morning we had Dawn come over and we just sat there writing in the shade while talking with Camille on the computer video screen there.  We got a lot done!  And as you can see, Mom got a lot done too - she has the scarecrow gnome from last year's visit to the Botanical Gardens on our front porch. And there are other scarecrows there too, of course, plus the pumpkin cut-outs my dad made and a few other items like the wreath and a brand new wall hanging that mom got that has a gnome theme to it.  It looks nice!

Today was a day for preparing.  We're packing for our upcoming trip, which putting things in the suitcase - like a giant squish mallow named Meadow.  Maddie came into her bedroom and spotted that right away!  We keep putting Meadow in different places to surprise one another, and it's been funny!

Tonight started a large scale conference with thousands of attendees, another big one we do each year called "Divine."  It's for the women.  Either that, or it's for the large walking tree lady that roamed around Animal Kingdom.  Anyway, it's a busy time driving back and forth.  I was getting Maddie to taekwondo tonight, and she's doing well there.  She was able to do her first aerial, and that was a big deal.  She only did it once, but after trying repeatedly, she's got it down.  Even better, her friend got to see it so there were witnesses!

We closed up the day with prayer and reading.  But tomorrow is going to be a massive day with so much going on at the church and Team Edge.  We got to bed on time tonight, because it's important to get some rest!
