Still, I could sneak aboard in the luggage space beneath the buses, right? This was a joke picture, but Mom and I were there at another one of the buses, helping Josh load up the luggage for the trip. Out of all the buses, ours was the only one to have a lot of space leftover, and that is mainly due to the efforts of Josh and Mom, who are expert packers. We had so much space leftover down there that when the massive amount of pizza leftover needed to be stored somewhere, well... you can see the space there now - it fit perfectly. Mom's mutant ability is packing and organizing.
Anyway, after a few delays the students were off and running, the buses heading north. They were nice and comfortable buses. Maddie sent a few texts along the way, and watched "Into the Spider-verse" with her friend from Edge. A lot of the kids from Edge are going to camp, so it made sense to cancel Team Edge practice Saturday morning. Besides, it's Labor Day, right?
So yeah, we got home and here we are alone, for the first time in ages. Mom and I watched a movie tonight, starting out the "Ber Months" with "Box Trolls," because I love that movie. Of course, the "Ber Months" are all about things leading up to Christmas, with so many events and things to celebrate along the way. It's going to be fun, and what a way to kick it off, right? By going to camp. Mom and I will go to a festival tomorrow in Sautee Nacoochee, and we'll start the season off in style!
