15. What one word best describes Abigail's flight away from the main protagonist?
a. determined
b. hopeful
c. grief-stricken
d. goofy
I'm sure Arthur Miller would be very happy to know that while his message about the dangers of false accusations is important, the bigger and stronger thing to draw from this powerful story is that Abigail runs like a complete goofball.
Okay, anyway, it was a good day. Maddie and I read from the Chalk, the land of the Discworld where the Nac Mac Feegle dwell, a people that are easier to read their dialogue internally than out loud at bed time. Tough accents, the Scotts! Anyway, it's been a fun book.
Today was Patriot Day, and time just seems to go by pretty quickly. We didn't dwell much on Patriot Day, but occasional stories popped up, and of course Maddie heard about it in school from her teachers who were of course around at that time. Unlike Maddie and all the other students, of course. Hopefully they'll never experience something like that. It was an awful day for all of us.
Tonight we watched "Hotel Transylvania 2," and yeah we'll probably be doing part three next. These are great movies. I love watching for things I hadn't noticed before, and tonight we saw a few of those that were pretty fun. It went well with my Count Chocula!
We had a night at taekwondo of course. Maddie had a good time while I was out shopping for various groceries, and some fun stuff for Mom that she can eat too. Mom was at home getting fall decor ready, and we were cleaning up a good bit today too, straightening up and doing a bit of fall cleaning. I was finding some old collections in drawers - a whole lot of smashed pennies, and even a few watches too. We have quite the collections.
It was a good day. We read tonight, and we said our prayers tonight before getting a good night's sleep.
