Angry Bread

We proudly present to you... "Angry Bread."  This was created by Maddie during her early childhood development class, and when pressed for an explanation, Maddie could offer no exact reasoning for creating this artistic masterpiece.  Perhaps all this recent talk of the Grinch inspired her to make a Grinch-themed bread.  Or maybe it is in fact a slice of bread made by Betty Ross to give to the Hulk at dinner time.  Or maybe it's just a lime green bread.  Whatever the reasoning, we salute you Maddie, for taking an ordinary slice of bread and creating something sublime.  Or just lime.

We had FCY tonight, and that was nice for Maddie.  It was somewhat of a student takeover night, so there were her friends up there in band leading worship, and there was Tytus actually delivering the message tonight.  Maddie recounted the entire thing tonight as we were driving back home.

She was studying Forensics a bit tonight, as she has a test tomorrow, but she feels good about that one.  We watched the latest Screencrush, which is an online show that reviews the Star Wars episodes we like to see, and it's been our addiction for the last few years now after watching Star Wars and Marvel stuff.  But that's about all Maddie had time to watch really, because it was late tonight.

We've been working on Christmas a good bit, which is one of those things I'm going to be saying the rest of the year despite the fact that we're just past the middle of September.  There is so much to do with casting and writing and getting people to come to practice and music and dancing and ... lots going on.  We did some writing for the main production too.  It's a lot.

Only a few more days until I get the treadmill, but the blood pressure is within reason again, and I've been walking at that new Lanierland park a lot lately, enjoying the trail each day.  Still, I can't wait for the treadmill, which is odd.  I've never been particularly excited about a piece of exercise equipment like this before.  But there you go!

Tonight we read before bed, getting to the latest chapter of "Wee Free Men" before saying our prayers and heading off to sleep.  It was a quiet day, a busy one in places, but a good one overall.
