National League East Champs X6

We were listening to the last part of the game tonight on the radio - after FCY - and sure enough, the Braves beat the Phillies tonight to seal the deal:  they are officially the National East League Champs, for the sixth consecutive year.  This was a given for Atlanta, unless they had some failing like the New York Mets last year.  It just seemed inevitable.  We are witnessing one of the greatest offenses in baseball, and it's one of those teams that you really can't take for granted.  It's literally an All-Star team, and they just keep rolling along.  

Maddie had FCY tonight, as mentioned earlier.  She enjoyed the message and the night, a quieter evening than a lot of the noisy events of late.  But it was good, and she enjoyed talking with friends, listening to the message and just having a great evening at church.  Meanwhile, the rest of us were over at KidPak because tonight we were watching callbacks for the Christmas production.  It was another big evening, but we finalized a lot of roles tonight, which is great because it's only September.  We'll be getting this Christmas play rolling soon!

We did some writing today, and we also did some filming for this weekend at KidPak.  We also did some finishing work on our new series - Ansley did a fantastic job with the cover for our new series, and I was so happy to have a college student do the work for us.  Josh was cleaning it up a bit, and of course I had those words added.  We're not done yet with the printed material, but the banners are done and the booklets are nearly done.  It's going to be a fun quick series!

Tonight we read some, and we said our prayers.  The plush entourage was present, and Meadow the purple cow was hanging out with us too.  It was a good day today.
