Thunderstruck II

"Thunderstruck" continued tonight, and it's all been going very well.  We planned for a movie night on that big screen you see behind us up there, and it just so happened that the forecast outside was rainy too.  The service portion of our day went really well, and then the skit, which you can see above.  Afterwards, the kids watched "Luca" on the big screen, probably the biggest screening of a movie that many have seen in over a year.

Maddie had a very helpful day, cutting things out - we're talking hundreds of papers she had cut out today for the parents and families that were picking up their kids.  She was also super helpful everywhere else during service and beforehand, shepherding kids and so on.  It's been a busy day, and a full one.  We're still writing the skit for tomorrow night, and still making other preparations, so things have been pretty crazy this week.  To add to that, there's another "Thunderstruck" event at the Cumming Campus this Friday, another one at Gwinnett starting tomorrow, and I'll also be at the one in Braselton next week.  Looking forward to some rest!

We still made time to read, and to pray of course.  Tomorrow is our last day of the event in Gainesville, but it's been going well and all the kids have had a great time!
