Ugh

Today was a pretty miserable day for Daddy, with trips to a warehouse and heat and an inability to put said material in certain warehouses.  We'll just leave it at that.

One week from today, we're heading to see another Tortugas game, another baseball game for us this season.  We were planning on seeing the Stripers some time soon as well, so we'll just have to see how July pans out.  It'd be great to see the Atlanta Braves some time too, as once again they are in first place, this despite the fact that once again they are not supposed to be in first place.  It's an exciting time to be a Braves fan again, and although we sort of don't expect the World Series every time, we know that they're going to win a lot during the season.  The great thing is the source of the victory each game - it comes from different sources, different players.  We've got a great team again.  It's not the team from the 90's that we just fell in love with, but of course you can't go back to that again.  That may have been the greatest team ever, or at least the greatest pitching roster of all time.  We saw all kinds of ball games back then, and how blessed we were.

Madison was playing games today, just enjoying the summer.  She did some packing, and did some piano practice too.  She's playing a lot of random songs.  Occasionally, you'll hear a "Greatest Showman" medley, and another song she likes to play is from "The Corpse Bride."  There are songs from her piano class, and songs from her past recitals - sometimes you'll hear Pachabel's Canon too.  It hasn't been as structured as it was with Mrs. Pam, but Madison is out there playing as much as possible in these summer hours.

She's been playing more online games and talking with friends online as well.  It's been a quiet and restful day for her though.  Mommy has been packing, and cleaning up a bit.  It's just too hot to go outside much, although that's where Daddy spent all his time.

Getting home, it was time to relax a bit.  We sat and watched "Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D.," and after that did some more reading, and a bit of praying.  It was a pretty full day for Daddy, and time for a good night's rest.
