Tonight was Madison's last KidPak Movie Night, at least I think it was. The kids were watching "LEGO Movie 2," and we had a decent number of kids here, along with some popcorn, drinks and candy. To begin with, they were in the recreation room for a while, playing pool, air hockey and so forth.
It was a fun night, although many of the other younger kids were pretty wound up. The end of school is in sight, and the end result of that was a lot of energy in the place! Regardless, Madison got to sit with friends and had a fun time tonight, glad she went.
Only one more week of school after this! She's starting to get a few more grades, nearing those final marks for the end of the year, all A's and no worries at all. Also, she's starting to bring home some artwork as well, things she's been working on from her class. She did this piece of pottery, her first effort with that medium, and it actually turned out pretty good. Nana has a potter's wheel downstairs, so maybe we find some way to put some future things in a kiln. Madison can start her own pottery place, sort of like all those random potters in White County that make weird ugly faces on pots. I'm not entirely sure what this appeal of the giant ugly faces on pots, but it sells really well, so maybe we'll start our own Forsyth Resource of Ugly Faces on Pots (or FROUFOP, for short).
Daddy has been working on Summer Xtreme lately, and our upcoming series "Tribes," along with finishing the "Miracles" series out, with one more class of "Acting Up" and... well, let's just say we're pretty busy lately at work. We've got a visit to the zoo coming up, and a lot of video work today. It's a big next three weeks upcoming!
