So there's been a word we old-timers have been hearing from them youngsters, and we're like, "....what?"
The word is "yeet." I think it's just an exclamation, when it comes down to it, something you say when you win a game, or get a good grade or see or do something super exciting. That said, Daddy wrote out a skit for this for KidPak, something short and sweet. Which rhymes with "yeet."

Today the grandparents returned from Florida, this after a two-day drive. They take it by two days now because it is a longer journey, something we're quite familiar with ourselves, of course. Tonight we engaged in an epic game of dominoes together and basically picked up where we left off the last time we were together. It's good to be together.
Mommy had a doctor appointment today (before the arrival), and things went well there. She's been going to the oncologist and getting scans and blood tests and so forth, all of this a yearly routine after the cancer diagnosis. But all is clear once again, and we are blessed.
Madison was doing her piano practice today, and doing well with that. Mommy and Daddy had a date at lunch, visiting this restaurant that features a lot of different versions of chicken salad. We enjoyed that, and then went to get groceries afterwards, preparing for the week ahead.
It was a quiet day, and also a productive one as well. Madison was reviewing for tests today, and Daddy was still doing a bit of writing on top of that - at home. We're all doing things moving forward and so forth, reading at night still, praying and hopefully all of us getting a good night's rest. Madison has been getting to bed a bit later, so we'll have to work on that. But she's doing well, excelling in all things, and we couldn't be prouder. In fact, we're all so happy, we could yell out, "Yeet!"

KidPak Adventures: Miracles!
Yeet!
CUE TRACK: 1 PIZZICATO CAPRICE
HOST: Sometimes when we’re talking, someone uses a word
And perhaps you don’t know it, and it sounds absurd!
GIRL enters STAGE RIGHT
HOST: Nubie parents don’t know of this word that’s so sweet
Here it is folks. Here’s the word. Yes, the word here is…
GIRL: Yeet!
HOST: Some of you know this. But for others we’ll repeat
It’s a word kids are using, and that word here is…
GIRL: Yeet!
HOST: Now what does it mean? Well, you’re in for a treat!
When you’re super excited, that’s when you say…
GIRL: (super excited) Yeet!
HOST: It also mean worries, like your team just got beat
Or a big storm is coming. You look up and say…
GIRL: (super nervous) Yeet!
HOST: But it’s also a verb used when you do something neat
Like a game-winning play, that’s when you just…
GIRL: (celebrating a touchdown or game-winning play) Yeet!
HOST: Throughout life, we have choices, and people to meet
And you’ll either get yeeted, or my friends, you can …
GIRL: (waving goodbye) Yeet!
GIRL exits STAGE RIGHT, to go GET VOLUNTEER
HOST: Now today we are talking about a guy who can’t hear
But this guy had high hopes because Jesus was near.
GIRL brings out VOLUNTEER
HOST: Our friend brought this guy out, because he was not feeling
that great about anything. Yes, he needed healing!
JESUS enters STAGE RIGHT
HOST: They waited for Jesus, and sat there on the street
She was so excited when she saw him, she hollered out…
GIRL: (pointing at JESUS) Yeet!
HOST: Jesus took this guy away, (pointing to games) we’ll say over there
And he prayed for him quietly, and yes that is where
HOST: He was healed! He was so happy, he jumped with his feet
And yelled out an excited word! What was that?
VOLUNTEER: Yeet!
GIRL signals for VOLUNTEER to join her back at STAGE.
HOST: As Jesus went on, the guy returned to his friend
His days of not hearing or speaking would end
HOST: His face had such joy, and his mood was upbeat!
He turned to his friend, and he said to her…
VOLUNTEER: Yeet!
GIRL high fives VOLUNTEER, and they pretend to talk excitedly.
HOST: Can you imagine not talking, long day after day?
And suddenly you can? Why, what would you say?
HOST: We could say anything, with phrases replete
We could even yell odd words. Yes, words such as …
GIRL and VOLUNTEER: Yeet!
GIRL and VOLUNTEER continue to pretend to talk with one another.
HOST: Whatever we say, I say make it count.
If you add up your words to a certain amount,
HOST: would they be filled with gossip, slander or conceit?
Or would they be more positive? With words such as…
GIRL and VOLUNTEER: Yeet!
JESUS returns, and GIRL and VOLUNTEER pretend to talk with him as well.
HOST: Whatever they are, remember Who can hear
It’s Jesus, and yes my friends, He’s always near
HOST: He listens to us, and is proud when we say
the right things to one another, day after day
HOST: So have ears to hear. Our story now is complete
And yes, one more time, what’s that word friends? It’s…
GIRL and VOLUNTEER: Yeet!
