We got season tickets to GTA next year, something like four tickets each for four performances throughout the year this time. We're set for a year at the theater, and of course there are always other productions that we may check out at the other locations in North Georgia. We are blessed to be surrounded by so many community theaters all around us, and we get to check out all these creative plays and productions.
Speaking of performances, Madison was at piano class today, and Mommy was in a peppermint bubble bath. She got Madison signed up for Art Camp this summer, a new class that is not as lengthy, but it's for older kids with more advanced projects. Madison is excited to try something new there.
We were sitting on the front porch today, this after a bit of gardening with mulch and weeding. We just sit with some cups of hot tea, watching the chipmunks scurry about. The neighborhood cat was last seen fleeing for his life, being chased by two furious blue jays that kept on his tail across our yard, across the street, across the neighbor's front yard and off into the woods. It was most amusing.
Mommy put out the Rock City hummingbird feeder she got for Christmas, and soon enough, we'll have that other birdhouse set up on the other side of the front yard. We'll have plenty of advertising for Rock City there.
Nana and Ye-Ye are coming over relatively soon to check out the potential of the side areas of the house, the ones where we have a lot of run off with water. We've had so much water this year so far. But we're heading for a hot and dry spell, so that will probably balance things out. God knows what he is doing!
And along those lines, we're starting a new devotional, or at least one we've read a while back. Madison wanted to hear again from Neverland, so we're heading there. It's been great to be in such a place, even for short readings. We'll have to see about finding some other literature from Neverland, perhaps even the original source material. I don't think we've even read that together, despite the fact that everyone nows the story by heart.
We've been watching "Droid Tales" lately, and there aren't too many episodes. But they've been pretty good, and pretty quick with the jokes, along with some pretty fun Star Wars references for those super fans. Which is what we are - which should be fairly obvious by this point. Again, the Emperor steals the show. But the other characters are a lot of fun too!
Daddy's been writing, and things are looking great for Summer Xtreme. It's a much more relaxed year, and things are lining up very well. And it's going by pretty fast too!
