Shadow

Long day at church today, but for Madison, it was a good day to be with Nana and Ba-Ba.  They spent the day together, hanging out and going for a walk, and checking out Goodwill, of course.  We go to Florida to Disney.  They come up here to go to Goodwill.

They do not, however, get to stay that long on this trip - they'll be going home this weekend.  It's been about four months since their last visit - although their next visit will be next month.  This time, they brought along their new pet, a nice little poodle named Shadow.  This dog has taken to Madison right away, and visa versa.

Shadow is an older dog, but is quite calm and happy to follow Madison around, sometimes with a tennis ball in his mouth.  He doesn't want to necessarily share the tennis ball - no games of fetch here.

Daddy got home a bit later, but everyone was still up.  So we popped in a DVD of the Easter production from this weekend, and the grandparents - and Mommy and Madison - got to see it in its entirety.  They enjoyed it very much!  Pretty amazed at the scale of it all.  Again, I remember the start of this:  in the doorway of KidPak's office, I was suggesting an idea of telling the story from Peter's vantage point, and sort of going from there.  It didn't turn out exactly as Daddy envisioned - the end product was more of a committee sort of production, that is to say, there were quite a few chefs cooking up ideas on this one.  The thing is that too many chefs did not spoil the stew in this case, as the biggest ingredient is God Himself, always covering us to make sure things turned out well.  We've had so many people telling us this was the best production we've ever done.  I don't agree with that entirely, but I'm not going to shoot down anyone else's opinion of it either!  In other words, we're glad and yes relieved to hear that it went over so well.  Now it's time to focus on Summer Xtreme a bit.  That'll be here soon!
