V-Day 2022

 

We had a nice little gift basket here for Maddie to celebrate Valentine's Day, one with a Ghostbusters theme.  I made up some small Valentine's Day cards to go with candy, and actual Stay Puft marshmallows, along with a Funko pop figure from the new Ghostbusters movie and... of course the new Ghostbusters movie too.  So yeah, we watched this one tonight - we could have watched some romantic comedy or something like that, but nope!  "Ghostbusters:  Afterlife" it was!  There is a tie-in of sorts, and it's related to that one card you see above with Peter Venkman saying, "Valentine's Day.  Bummer."  

Look at these hearts at the table this morning.  Mom made this delicious treat for breakfast this morning, and I had some cards and gifts for her, including a few bird feeders, a collection of prints by Louis Wain, a handheld hummingbird feeder, and her favorite Crunchie bars too.  The pop-up Valentine's Day card with the cardinals was something nice that I spotted several weeks ago too. 

It was a nice Valentine's Day.  We had taekwondo tonight too, and that was fun.  It was a good day, one we closed out with reading and of course prayers afterwards.
