KidPak Live 2022

Maddie was helping out tonight, taking pictures of KidPak Live, our event where we invite moms and dads to enjoy a KidPak Service with us, one designed for the whole family to have a good time at.  It was fun!  We did some games, some classic videos we've created, a mad-lib, and of course the worship band was there too.

I had Maddie taking pictures during the skit as part of this parent line-up which was one of our whodunit skits.  It was a super fun night!

Maddie did a great job taking pictures tonight!  It was a pretty crowded night, because she was also over at taekwondo for two consecutive classes tonight, both leadership and black belt class.  She's pretty sore from a few hits tonight, but she's having a great time, always with a lot to say after class.

She had the day off, and she's been doing a bit of resting today.  Part of that includes Animal Crossing, the latest game she's been somewhat addicted to.  As promised, we all got to sleep in somewhat, although not too much - there was work to be done today, both for this weekend and of course setting up tonight's service.  It was a busy day at work.

After such a full night, we got home, where we watched a bit from the Olympics and got to bed a little sooner due to fatigue.  We get to sleep in again tomorrow, so that'll be good to catch up.  We read tonight, approaching the halfway point of our penultimate book.  Maddie spotted our visiting opossums tonight - one is named Lester, and we haven't figured a name of the other yet, but they're becoming rather regular customers.  We also have the cat too, who likes to spend time on the couch with Mom on her lap, purring. The birds have been plentiful, although we have to get some more birdseed here soon.  The number of birds have been plentiful to the back deck, to Mom's great delight.  Also, a few bluebird customers were looking at our Rock City birdhouse, perhaps inspecting it to move in.  We'll need to get a few more birdhouses, maybe some that will satisfy better these picky clients.  We've lately become birdwatchers, haven't we?

We said our prayer before bedtime tonight, and got to bed rather quickly.  The night's activities truly wore us out.  It was a long day again, but it was another good one.
