Uncharted

Tonight was nice evening out at the movies, all of us heading out to see a movie with the rest of the KidPak staff, including our visiting OC campus KidPak Pastor as well.  We saw the new movie "Uncharted," which has an ending that is absolutely over-the-top bonkers, but it was fun, these ginormous Spanish galleons flying through the air, each with a crew on board, sword fights, grappling hooks and even cannon fire.  It was really bonkers, but pretty fun.  And it was a fun time for all of us, who took up a whole row at the theater, watching the flick with our popcorn and drinks.

The rest of the day was quiet.  We were studying our parts for tomorrow morning's performance, and speaking of performances, Maddie was at Team Edge today, already starting with the training.  We were off shopping for birdseed and other items while Maddie was practicing.  We loaded up the bird feeder again, and had the Olympics on a lot today.  As things are wrapping up, I have to say we've been watching these games a lot more because of the streaming service we have.  We've been catching all kinds of obscure sports and watching them n their entirety, and just watching matches on demand of anything from luge to curling to ice hockey to the sport we were checking out a lot today:  four-man bobsledding.  We even got to see the Jamaicans back in action too, although they were a little iffy racing down that track.  We were kind of worried about them to be honest!

Anyway, it was a good day.  The weather is cool outside, and cold at night.  But things are trending towards the warmer side, as evidenced by the robins that are starting to appear.  Spring is indeed on its way, just as the groundhog promised.

We read tonight from our Kingdom Keepers book, although not as much - we got home from the movies a bit late.  And then we said our prayers afterwards, ready for a good night's rest.
