Day Before SX24

Here are a few pictures from this morning's KidPak service, a movie message that we did related to "At the Movies."  We had a new message for "Super Mario Bros" that went very well.  It's the service before Summer Xtreme though, so the rest of the staff were getting things ready for the huge week.  It all started actually with the parent meeting after service today.  We went through slides and all the usual things we talk about with parents before their kids have a big week with us.  And then the parents were on their way home, equipped with bags and the new t-shirts.  Of course, the rest of the day was us decorating and preparing and doing all the work to get things ready.  There were teams of us all working together in different areas, prepping the auditorium or decorating the halls or getting files ready with videos or making graphics for handouts.  Lots going on.

We got home, and we were tired, and we needed to get to bed early.  We did watch "Descendants 2," continuing our little marathon here.  We like these first two movies a good bit.  Now we've got the "Uma" theme song stuck in our heads!  Anyway, we read for a bit after this, and said our prayers... and then it was time to get a good night's rest.
