More LEGO Fun at KidPak

Madison was one of the children chosen for the Wisenheimer invention this morning, that little thing that reads your mind and puts up on the screen - in this service - what LEGO character you are most like.  In this case, its as a heroic female astronaut.  The invention was created by an Imagineer in California, one that goes to our church there.  It was a great service!

Meanwhile, up north, there were some kids enjoying a service in Buffalo.  This was another service that Daddy wrote, both the message and the skits.  They're doing an entire series based on "Hooked on a Feeling," and it's just great to see.  Several pictures came this way, including this one here:

It's great - it's the same series we did, just in another church!  The folks there were really grateful for the material and by all appearances, they did a great job with it!

Meanwhile, Irma made landfall.  Finally, this storm's eye wall struck the Florida Keys this morning, starting it's march up the western coast of Florida.  This is what everyone was waiting for and dreading.  We watched the news intently all day, marking off the progress of this massive storm.  The thing is literally bigger than Georgia is, and that's where it's heading tomorrow:  where we live.  As of this moment, it's heading towards Tampa Bay, where the bay itself is losing its water, all of it sucked out to sea by the hurricane.  The good news is that this storm is rapidly weakening, even faster than anticipated.  It's path puts it over Orlando and up the middle of Florida, and then into Georgia and from there across the Southeast.  It will be a long night for some folks.
