Ten Years Later

It's hard to imagine this really happened, and everything that lined up afterwards so remarkably, including our adoption plans.  But it was all laid out - God has plans for us, plans to prosper us and give us hope.  It was that hope that brought us through some of the darkest hours of Mommy's treatments.  And here we are, ten years later, on the other side of things.  Every day is a gift.

Today was the day Mommy had surgery, and this time ten years ago, Daddy was waiting in a hospital, spending the night there, wondering what the future would be like.  And here it is, and we're doing fine.

We had a fantastic church service tonight, and special guests at the church this week from different campuses.  Our church is growing again, with a new branch opening in Buford very soon.  It's all very exciting news, as the idea is to keep on growing, reaching out, and sharing the good news with more and more people.

It's a Wednesday, so as you can imagine it is a busy day with ballet, homework, and church tonight.  We're gearing up for a new series, for a vacation, for all kinds of thrills upcoming.  The fun doesn't slow down, and neither do we.  Ten years later, we're still going, and going really well.
