Carpet Skating

Piano class was fun today!  To add to the idea of rhythm, Mrs. Pam equipped everyone with these carpet skates, and off they went!

And in some cases, down they went.  It was like the class doing some skating on Saturday, only this time it was in the classroom on the carpet.  They were all enjoying themselves a lot, a nice little space of time to let things slide for a bit.  We learned a few more songs and arrangements after this, writing out the fingering and notes and chords and so forth - the usual.  And Madison seems to be doing well with this also.

It was a good day today, a nice day outside.  More importantly to Madison, it was Taco Tuesday.  Yes, this is the day of the week upon which all the others revolve.  If there are no tacos, there is no more fuel for the coming week!

Madison did her homework upon getting home, and there was a bit of gaming going on as well.  We were Disney Infinity characters having fun with some new levels downloaded.  Not enough time for a movie, so we dragged out a few characters and had fun with that for a bit.

We read from the second "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book, and from the devotional this month as well.  And that's pretty much it for an average Tuesday.  Mommy and Daddy started off the remainder of season three of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." tonight, but we were off to bed pretty early after that.  It was a good day, just a busy one as always with the driving and classes and so forth.

One thing of note:  Daddy and Josh spent about four hours writing for Summer Xtreme this morning.  Lots and lots of stuff going on there.  But the planning is going on big time, and we're pretty excited about all the places we're going, and the videos we're filming.  It's going to be great!
