It was a busy day today for us with planning for Newsies and for the Easter production, which is fast approaching. Maddie has school too, of course, but tonight she was at Free Chapel Youth, having a good time with the other students.
It was a good day today, but a busy one. I'm writing skits for other campuses too, and making sure all the details like banners and books are good for KidPak. Speaking of which, the new booklets for "Good News" look so great. It's exciting seeing this new series come together, and it's going to be a lot of fun watching the younger cast members get into their roles.
We read tonight, of course. We're almost two hundred pages in, and there are things going on within the story in 1955 and in the present year too. The Overtakers are relentless!
After prayers tonight, Putnam, Chuck, Maddie and everyone else that was there or story time went down the hall to get tucked in with the proper alignment of blankets, and then it was time to say "Good night, stinky," and then we were all asleep pretty quick!
