Toy Story Mania

This morning, Mommy was off early for a full day with some of her friends, learning a bit throughout the afternoon about a few different things - there were different classes she signed up for, most about health benefits and so forth.  Look, she won a prize!

She was gone for a while, so Madison and Daddy were at home alone for a good bit of time, working.  Daddy was finishing up scripts and images for tomorrow's big debut of our new series, "Toy Box," and meanwhile, Madison was working on chapter two of her autobiography, along with a bit of piano work as well.  When we were done, we spent over an hour playing this one game, just because it's all about "Toy Story."

This game is "Toy Story Mania," which is from what I understand a version of the shooting gallery ride we experienced down in Orlando in Disney World.  This is the ride you used to have to get a fast pass to super early, otherwise you were doomed to wait a long time.  Well, now you can have the game at home.  Of course, it's not as magical as the ride, but this game is really fun, and really addictive.

You just basically go from level to level, shooting targets as fast as you can.  And the targets reappear, or some move across, or some taunt you.  There are many, many different levels - you can see just one above, a train station in a western section. There's a military section, a space sector, and a balloon popping area with Bo Peep.  There's a even a prehistoric level or two to go with Rex.  It's a fun game, and here we were, the two of us, shooting away for well over an hour.

Eventually we had to go get Mommy, and while we were doing that, we decided to go out and get some Chick-Fil-A.  The reason?  Their new side item, the first side item they've introduced since 2016.  It was macaroni and cheese.  Yes, we got the macaroni and cheese, or at least Daddy did.  It was good, which is pretty much like most macaroni and cheese.  Daddy is a big fan of macaroni and cheese.  True story.

Tonight we watched another episode of Agent Carter, and on top of that read a bit from Grand Admiral Thrawn.  The television show "Rebels" really got him right, this we decided after reading a bit from his original appearance.  We said our prayers, and then it was time to go to bed early for Daddy.  Mommy still had one or two things to do with costumes, and I can't wait for you to see them in the morning.  She did a great job assembling them, and in many cases, actually sewing them together and creating them.  it's going to be a great morning!
