As for Me and My House

We had a brief journey back to the show "Brisco County, Jr." tonight, and I'm glad it's been so long since I've seen it last because I forgot how this latest episode ended.  It's been a great series to binge again, so much so that Mom got me another early birthday present:  the series "Jack of All Trades," another Bruce Campbell series from the 90's that was pretty fun.  We'll have to get through Brisco County first, of course, and all the subsequent seasonal movies that we've got on tap the next few months.

Maddie had her classes this morning, and after that spent the day with Nate, getting a ride home afterwards.  She had a good day of course.  I got a good bit of our November book done, and we were modifying a booklet cover for October - we were adjusting a series called "As for Me and My House," to make a cover for a KidPak booklet.

Along the way, someone suggested it perhaps looked a little too "kiddy," so we used AI and added a "military family in the front holding Nerf guns, plus a shark flying through the air, plus a giant looming tater tot with a face on it, standing off on the horizon."

This cover cracks me up.  Obviously we're not using it.

One thing we did use today was a bag of Amish popcorn that we picked up over in Ellijay this weekend.  It was surprisingly tasty and easy to make too.  Not too bad!

So that's the latest on this rather dull Tuesday.  It was dull here, at least.  Elsewhere, things are going on that are a bit more intense.  But here at home, nice and calm.  We read from our "Feet of Clay" book, and after that we said our prayers.  Time for some sleep.
