Moonrise

This was a pretty awesome sunset at Nate's neighborhood.  The sunset is actually in the opposite direction, but the moon there just above those towering clouds... it made for a striking visual.  As usual, pictures just don't do it justice.

Nice day today.  Maddie had a good morning at chapel, listening to a guest speaker from OC.  The rest of the day was somewhat restful for her.  We're doing this on-and-off thing with detox, both Mom and I.  We have "on" days and "off" days where we take certain supplements, and those are pretty regimented in the scheduling.  But we're keeping to it, and doing well.

We were putting up roadsigns on the set today, and I was finishing up the skit for Sunday, which I think should be good.  It took a while to figure this one out, but the end result should be a fun morning at KidPak.  Maddie did have taekwondo tonight, but after all of that, we did get around to watching "Mrs. Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children," which is the unofficial start of the seasonal movie season, the "Ber" months.  We just didn't have time to watch it yesterday on Loop Day, given that we were at the ball game.

It was a good day.  We finished it with a short reading from "Feet of Clay," and then prayers.  This morning I was going to feed the sea monkeys, who are doing just fine by the way.  Anyway, there was a bit of algae on the side of the tank, and I thought I'd just put my finger in there to wipe the side off.  Which I did, without a problem.  But immediately the sea monkeys came up to my finger there, and for just a moment we had a little connection there.  I love my sea monkeys - they're cute little pets!
