The Crash Test Dummies are Back!

The Crash Test Dummies were back today, the costumes Mom and I made back almost twenty years ago, and they were a big hit with the kids.  Coupled with Nerdo, it was a fantastic skit.  They were pretty much a voice of reason for him, coming in and guiding him to make the best decision for the racing team.  Turns out there were some other racers cheating, and Nerdo had to choose whether or not he would join them or try and race the cleanest way.  You probably know what direction he chooses.  Mom and Maddie took some pictures this morning for the service - Maddie was upstairs for the first service, working with the college and monitoring the online chatroom while listening to Pastor up there.  Here's some of the pictures from this morning at KidPak:

It was a fun morning today at KidPak!  That Mach Five car there was from 2008, before we even went to China to get Maddie, and there it is on the set again after so long, having spent so much time in warehouses waiting for its next appearance.

It was a great day today, and a restful afternoon afterwards.  I was on the Scooby Doo virtual walk afterwards, passing by 40% while watching an episode or two.  I discovered Kingston Mansion was the name of that spooky haunted house you see first with the show's intro, because that's one of the episodes I saw while walking along.

Tonight we finished our Men In Black marathon with the third movie, one we all really enjoyed a lot.  This is a great trilogy, and a fun way to start out the fall season.  I remember seeing this for the first time

Here we go, marching along into fall.  Anyway, tonight afterwards, we read from Discworld, visiting with Commander Vimes and the team as they investigate golems and a few murders.  And then, time for prayers - and some sleep!
