Mystery Solved!

I have finished the big virtual race!  Today I got to that fifty mile mark, and we solved the mystery - or, at least Velma, Fred, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby did.  I celebrated tonight by watching this episode "Which Witch is Which?"  I've been on the treadmill watching all of season one and two while I walk, and this has been a fun theme.  Fun moment will be in a few weeks when I get a Scooby Doo medallion in the mail for my efforts.  

Okay, so Maddie had college this morning, and that was fun.  The classes are a little more low key at the moment because everyone is getting ready for the weekend at the church - we're having a big conference this weekend, one where all the college students will be volunteering to help.  It should be a big weekend.  After college, Maddie went over to the Nate's house and spent the day there watching movies, and going for a walk together around the neighborhood.

The church is being decorated for the women's conference this weekend.  We've got giant lemons on the ground, and a fairly big mural too.

Later on this evening, we had Wallace and Gromit night, watching "Curse of the Were Rabbit."  To make it a full experience, we had some of Wallace's favorite cheese, Wensleydale!  

We didn't get the plain Wensleydale this time, but rather a unique flavor.  We had some other cheese with cranberry in it, and some cheddar, but this Wensleydale had apricot and almond flavoring in it, and it was just magical.  Mom tried it and just said, "Wow."  So I had to try it next, and I could suddenly see why Wallace is so obsessed with Wensleydale.  

The rain is coming in pretty well tonight.  Got the bird feeders inside because of the threat of raccoons, and tonight we set in for a good night's rest with the sound of rainfall outside.  We read some more from our mystery in Ankh-Morpork, and then after that it was time for prayers.  Nice day!
