Pizza Planet Truck

You can see us practicing one of the games for Summer Xtreme Nights, although we'll have holes poked in those boxes and there will be some serious combat going on with balloons taped to the top and foam noodle weapons to use for striking opponents.  But in the meantime, we were just testing out the logistics and the walking about inside a box, which looked pretty funny!

Look what we saw in the Kohl's parking lot!  We were picking up a few last-minute things today, and doing some other shopping in that center, and there it was, the Pizza Planet Truck!  This used to be a owned by a resident in Forsyth County, but now it's owned by the same guy here in Hall County who owned the Jurassic Park vehicle.  So we'll be seeing this around more often now too.  It's a nice truck, one that immediately gets a big smile.  It's pretty iconic for Pixar fans.

We had rain today, and that's fantastic.  There are a lot of new plants in the back yard that need that water as they settle into their new home, and it saves me about 45 minutes or so out there with the hose.  Not that I didn't enjoy that.  It's great each night watering all the plants Mom has set up in the back yard.  It's really nice back there.

So we're getting closer to Summer Xtreme, so it's quite a bit more busy.  Only a few days to go!  Tonight we had taekwondo, a nice little break for all of us.  Maddie has three performances with Team Edge upcoming, two of them at Summer Xtreme.  We're entering a part of the calendar that's pretty full, with taxi service back and forth.  Gas prices continue to soar, and inflation is rising higher and higher.  We're glad to offer Summer Xtreme for free this year to kids - we have 900 signed up thus far, although I'm not sure that many will arrive.  Still, we have to prepare for that many.

Tonight we read, and we prayed of course.  Sleep came easy - we're all pretty worn out!
