Guardians of the Bathroom Door

We sent this photo to Master Edge while he was away from the studio.  The joke is that I usually watch Maddie from the observation area, and I'm right next to this bathroom door.  My "responsibility" is to make sure that door stays shut so people entering from the front door don't see a toilet as they enter the building.  You could say that we're Guardians of the Bathroom Door.  I want an official badge that says that.

So the next week's entries are going to be short.  Looking back over the history of the week of Summer Xtreme, they usually are brief - we're just so busy setting things up, writing, creating, calling, decorating, setting up... all kinds of stuff.  Summer Xtreme Nights is coming up, and although it is a much-abbreviated version of it, we have quite a few children signed up and it will be a fairly big event.

Maddie has been playing the new LEGO Star Wars game we just got, and she's liking it a lot.  It's quite different from the original version of the game that we played so much - I have to go get an extra controller to play alongside her, but it will be worth it.  We continued rewatching a few episodes of "The Mandalorian" again afterwards, just to keep the ol' Star Wars theme going.

We're getting ready for Summer Xtreme Nights.  Mom is in the garden with Nana, just keeping her mind busy.  She constantly needs something to do, otherwise things aren't going well.  Meanwhile, Mom has a few medical issues she needs looking at - hopefully we'll get some answers two Mondays from now when she has an endoscopy.  Lots going on here.

We read tonight, of course, and then we said our prayers.  And then... it was off to bed!
