Jurassic Park Dominion

This evening, we finally saw the movie "Jurassic Park Dominion," and this is pretty much the big movie of the summer for us, the only "must-see" we were waiting for.  It didn't disappoint Maddie and I, who were pretty hyped for it, even wearing our "Lost World" shirts that we wore during the dinosaur series at KidPak last year.  The movie was longer, and on top of that, we got there early.  The theater was crowded, but we got good seating.  We got a huge tub of popcorn, and had a great time at the movies.  

So this was six Jurassic Park movies, and I've been a super fan since the beginning, watching that first one in the theater and watching that giant T-Rex stomp outside the formerly electrified fence and terrifying everyone in the audience.  Nothing with CGI and practical effects had been ever done like that before, and it was revolutionary to the movie industry.  But more than that, there was a great story and concept beneath it, one that kept us as fans all the way to this day.  It's hard to believe that it's been that long since we've seen all three of these characters back together in the same movie.  But it was fantastic to see just that.  Maddie and I loved it.

Obviously, today was more than just a dinosaur movie.  We had KidPak in the morning, and that was a blast.  The two series were of simpler design with our classic Wisenheimer invention replacing the skit, mainly because we wanted to give our cast members a little rest, given all the great work they did with Summer Xtreme.  So we did a simpler game, and then the Wisenheimer... it all worked out nicely this morning with actually a really good service.  Maddie and I came home and there was a nice meal waiting for us like always, and after that... it was off to the movies.

We had enough time to read tonight, and then after that, prayers.  We've got another Summer Xtreme Nights to start up tomorrow night, and a big day tomorrow for Mom.  We got to bed early, and got a good night's rest.
