Fifty years ago now, and it seems so surreal because that's the way great distances of time work.  But nevertheless, here we are at Nana and Ye-Ye's fiftieth anniversary.  You can see here we celebrated the day at their house, which was the location of fifty pink flamingos, all of them sent by Nana's sister Rebecca.

Yes, fifty pink flamingos in the front yard.  As you can see here, it made for a very nice photo shoot.  Nana and Ye-Ye were out amongst them in the front yard, posing for a shot we'd share on social media sites so everyone could see the big day.

I took a lot of photos, actually, so rather than write anything more in between these, we'll just share them below.  It's a happy day!

The rest of the day was fun too.  Madison's leadership class was this evening, and she was back at it again with some choreography and those kama weapons.

They were working on a routine with these, and with this, her second class, she's now fully convinced that she's going to like this class from this point on.  She loved it today, and is looking forward to Monday.  We're at the studio now four days a week!

After class, we were back at Nana and Ye-Ye's house for a final night with Ray and Valerie and the family.  Here's a nice photo of the group together, one I took of everyone on the front porch.

And for old time sake, I took another picture of just these four together on the front porch as well.

We had an incredible meal tonight.  Michael's wife, Xuejiao, cooked up an authentic Chinese meal, and it was one of the best Chinese meals I've ever eaten.  Mommy loved it too.  There was so much good stuff to eat, and it was just great timing that we arrived to all enjoy it together.  We had such a blessed evening, and hopefully it was a very nice conclusion to Nana and Ye-Ye's fiftieth anniversary.  It was just good to be together.

We got home late after this, but we still squeezed in some television, and a short bit of reading, followed by prayers... and sleep.  It was time to get some rest for sure!
