"Kurios" in the Theater

Tonight we saw "Kurios" again, but this time at the movie theater.  It was a one-time engagement for tonight only at 7pm, and we knew we could see it if we left taekwondo right away, which we did.  We met Nana and Ye-Ye there, got the popcorn and drinks and the back row... and enjoyed the show!

I hope they do this more often, actually.  It wasn't like actually being under the Grand Chapiteau, but it was still a really enjoyable viewing.  It helps that this was probably our second favorite show they've ever done, from costuming and props to the music to the acts themselves.  But this might be a great way to catch other shows we may have missed, or ones that we saw a long time ago that we don't remember so well.  Madison enjoyed it, sitting next to Nana and laughing at certain parts or looking on in amazement at some of the different talents on the screen.  She remembered some of it when we saw it in person back in March of 2016.  But this was nice too, especially with the steampunk theme.  Also, there were probably some things we saw on the screen we could have missed beforehand.

It was another cold and rainy day, part of a cold and rainy week.  But we were indoors all day, so that's okay.  Madison was taking a test about governments in Europe.  She can tell you that there are 28 nations in the EU, although one of them is about to Brexit.  She can tell you about the House of Lords and the House of Commons, and the special committee that appoints the Chancellor or Germany, and the new Constitution that Russia adopted in 1993 or that they have a Federal Assembly.  She should do pretty good on that test!

We went to taekwondo, yes, and Madison is rapidly moving forward with her learning.  She looks great out there too, her posture just perfect on the mat.  It's great to see her enjoying this so much, but the teachers make it easy to enjoy.

It was a decent day, although there were  a few setbacks at work with series artwork and writing for the Christmas production upstairs.  But things are moving forward, and we're excited about what's to come.  Madison is asleep now, a little later, but after a nice night with family.  We read more from the Peter and those pirates, and we prayed together before turning in.  We keep her Christmas tree on in her room, and the light is pretty bright.  But she likes it, and that's okay this time of year.
