Good Saturday

We've got to squeeze in some time to do Easter eggs!  It was a super busy day before Easter, one that started out at Team Edge practice.  While Maddie was busy training, I was busy writing the final touches of the script for tomorrow morning.  While the Easter production goes on upstairs, the Newsies will be downstairs doing their thing too.  But as you can see above, we got home in time to do some Easter eggs too!

This is Maddie's Totoro, which makes us all want to see the movie again!

Maddie made this one too, the gradients of spring color and the silhouette of the cross - somewhat of a traditional egg for us!

This is the Thanos egg.  Yes, Thanos gets his own egg this year!

And so does the Incredible Hulk!  Don't make this egg angry.  You won't like it when it's angry.

This one "cracks me up!"  It's Sinara, from "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."  Looks just like her!

We just liked the color and abstract artistry of this one.

Here's the hedgehog egg.  We made this one using a kit, with stickers and the egg stand itself.

Maddie did a watermelon one too.  We didn't do as many this year, because soon enough we'd be at call time for the Easter production.

And this was the rest of the day.  You can see me on the screens there being healed from blindness.  We arrived at the Easter production and were ready to go again for the second event.  It went really well.  You can see below more pictures taken by our church staff, photos of our event.  We got home late, of course, and have to get up super early for Easter Sunday.  Maddie was seated in the audience in a different spot for this showing.  Yesterday she was further back with some friends, and today she was elsewhere, saving seats for some others from taekwondo.  It's been good.  So many people here this weekend, and so many in overflow watching in on our screens.  The place is packed and the decisions for first-time salvations, when all was said and done, I think were counted at around 1,048.  Here are the photos...

We prayed tonight, and we still had time to read.  In fact, we even watched that episode of "Moon Knight" from earlier in order to catch up.  But we were tired, and sleep came easy tonight, especially as we have to get up super early tomorrow.  But all is going well!
